Music from The Western Reserve’s 2017/18 Featured Young Artists are Noa Barenblat, Emily Brett, Kelsey Brown, Colin Carswell, Sam Columbus, Warren Egypt Franklin, Courtney Hausman, David Holbert, Gillian Jackson, Tia Karaplis, Caroline Kasay, Amy Keum, Zach Landis, Matthew Pitts, Joshua Regan and Jake Slater.
Hailing from twelve different states, these gifted young artists are Music Theatre majors at Baldwin Wallace Conservatory. When they take our stage, expect a lively and energetic program of show tunes from the Golden Age of Broadway.
When the students take our stage, expect a lively and energetic program of show tunes from the Golden Age of Broadway featuring The Most Happy Fella, Camelot, and The Sound of Music. Be prepared to be tapping your feet and singing along to your favorite tunes, including Standing in the Corner, Big D, The Simple Joys of Maidenhood, If Ever I Would Leave You, Sixteen Going on Seventeen, and My Favorite Things, to name a few.
Not only can they be seen at Playhouse Square and the Beck Center in Cleveland, but also in the heart of downtown Hudson at the acoustically superb Christ Church Episcopal located at 21 Aurora Street. The concert will be held on Sunday, October 29, 2017, at 5 p.m. Immediately following the concert will be a meet-the-artist reception for an opportunity to meet the future stars of Broadway!
Single Tickets $20 and Student Admission FREE. Tickets can be purchased below, at the Learned Owl Book Shop at 204 N. Main Street in Hudson, or at the door the evening of the concert.
