The General Manager is responsible for all major components of managing a chamber music series with six annual concerts. Primary duties are (a) concert planning, including the selection and scheduling of artists; (b) sales and marketing, including oversight for all brochures and programs; (c) concert day administration, including welcoming artists and reception arrangements; (d) annual campaign leadership and grant-writing; and (e) administrative duties, including ticket sales and preparation of financial information and Board reports.
The position is part-time with varying hours of about 10 to 15 per week. The Board of Trustees provides limited supervision along with guidance and expertise.
